EFF’ Fighters invades H&M stores over ‘brutal’ racist ad

The ground forces of the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) ‘Fighters’ today took matters into their own hands by invading the H&M retail stores in Pretoria’s Menlyn mall and Sandton following the racist incident liked to the store that broke out last-week.

The retailer had used a black child to model a sweatshirt with the slogan “coolest monkey in the jungle” and later retracted the advert and latter apologized for any offence caused.

While the brand has apologized and removed the image, Fighters protested at H&M stores across South Africa on Saturday vandalizing the stock and forcing the store to shutdown in both Sandton and Menlyn mall.

In footage shared on social media, activists were seen chanting, dancing, and trashing several stores with some protesters holding posters with slogans saying “Away with H&M racist tendencies.”
