The Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) leader Julius Malema to lead a Motion in Parliament on the Nationalization of Banks without compensation.

The EFF want the government to take over the key banks in the country by law without any compensation to the current private owners.

The motion will be discussed on Tuesday 07 November 2017 in parliament at 14:00. The party is expecting the ruling party African National congress to back the motion in-line with the Freedom Charter while the Democratic Alliance is expected to oppose the motion.

The political rivalry between EFF and ANC have seen many revolutionary motions like ‘Redistribution of Land without compensation’ failing and it won’t be a surprise if this one fails.
