Member of the Azanian People’s Liberation Army (Apla), Kenny Motsamai to be officially released from prison today after 25-year-imprisonment.
Today marks the official release of Kenny Motsamai from prison since his incarceration in 1989. Motsamai had previously reportedly refused to be released on parole stating that the conditions were unfair.
PAC and EFF members gather outside the Boksburg prison for the official release of Mr. Motsamai.
The EFF Chairperson, Adv Dali Mpofu, is present at the official release of Kenny Motsamai and will address the supporters at the event.
Motsamai will be moved to the CSS centre in Boksburg CBD – around where he will be officially released by the authorities
He will then move to his home – 206 Twala Section, Katlehong where Adv Dali Mpofu will deliver an address to the both EFF and PAC supporters.
The PAC veteran has been imprisoned for 25 years. He was convicted of killing a traffic officer during the apartheid era.
