The High Court in Pretoria has set aside the dissolution of the board of Passenger Rail Rail South Africa (Prasa) by former Transport Minister Dipuo Peters.
Former Prasa board chairperson Popo Molefe wins his court bid to have his board reinstated at Prasa following the dissolution las month.
Molefe had filed an urgent application for the court to declare Prasa board’s dissolution unlawful and prevent an interim board from being appointed.
The ex-Transport Minister Dipuo Peters appointed the interim before she was removed from the Cabinet last week by President Jacob Zuma.
The ruling means the new interim Prasa board appointed by Peters will be dissolved with effect from 8 March
