President Jacob Zuma has announced his resignation from office as the President of the country just hours away from Motion to recall him in parliament.
President Zuma’s decision to step-down came after was he asked to resign by the ruling party African National Congress (ANC).
The President thanked the Nation for giving an opportunity to lead and also thanked parliament for advancing democracy.
The ruling party has welcomed President Jacob Zuma’s resignation and wished him well.
