Zuma endorses his Ex-wife to be the next President

President Jacob Zuma has for the first time spoken out publicly to show his full support to his Ex-wife and the former African Union Chair Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma, saying she could make a good President after his term.

President Zuma spoke good about the qualities Dlamini-Zuma possess and says there are the ones that made her to have successful journey in her previous high roles as a public cadre.

Zuma and his ex-wife were both attending a Sunday service over the weekend at the St Catherine’s Roman Church in Dlamini-Zuma’s birthplace in Bulwer‚ in the KwaZulu-Natal Midlands, where Zuma gave a speech which revealed his appraisals toward Dlamini-Zuma characteristics.

Zuma addressed his ex-wife as someone “very bold” and “someone you can trust”.

“She turned the AU into what we wanted it to be. She is much respected in Africa and it would be surprising why she would not be respected in South Arica.”

In a bid to campaign for the presidency, Dlamini-Zuma is expected to go head in head with the Deputy President Cyril Ramaphosa during the party’s elective conference in December.

Dlamini-Zuma has successfully headed top positions in South Africa as a former Foreign Affairs and Home Affairs minister and also went on to become African Union Chairperson as part of her leadership skills.
