The Youth League of the African National Congress (ANC) in KZN disrupted the memorial service on the struggle hero Ahmed Kathrada with Pro Preisdent Jacob Zuma songs.
ANC Treasury General Zweli Mkhize received an unpleasant welcome from the ANCYL forcing him to step-down from the podium.
The former Finance Minister Pravin Gordhan were booed by the members of the ANCYL while he was introduced.
The proceedings started very well but the youth of the ANC in KZN couldn’t stand Zweli Mkhize address, he was shuttered with Zuma songs and slogans in a wake of the statement he made after President Jacob Zuma’s recent cabinet reshuffle.
The ANCYL criticizes Gordhan saying he had made a provocative statements against their movement.
