“There’s unity in the party and all suggestions to the contrary are ‘bulls**t’.” – EFF Deputy President Floyd Shivambu
Deputy president of the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) Floyd Shivambu has come out to reassure party supporters that there’s no fight between him and EFF leader Julius Malema on Monday.
Floyd Shivambu has denied rumours of wars between him and the party leader Julius Malema following a facebook post by the former EFF Gauteng leader alleging that he wants to take over the leadership.
Shivambu, a long time friend of Malema, said his relationship with his boss remains solid, intact, undamaged and firm.
He reiterated that the unity and love that exists in the party remains unquestionable.
He warned people spreading false news about his relationship with Malema to quit doing so because “the EFF will never be divided”. “The EFF will never be divided. Fools and Staff Riders tried but they all collapsed and we are still solid. It will never change,” Shivambu said.
Floyd Shivambu was responding to an allegation by former Gauteng Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) leader Lufuno Gogoro that there is an infighting among EFF top leadership at Braamfontein Headquarters.
The Party spokesperson Mbuyiseni Ndlozi refused to comment on the allegation but said the ex-Gauteng Leader cannot be a source.
Lefuno Gororo left the party with Andile Mngxitama to form their own party called Black Land First (BLF) which is struggling to grow.
Lefuno Gororo and Andile Mngxitama were all kicked out of the EFF for various reasons about two years ago
